1. How difficult are the rapids?

Our guided rafting trips navigate rapids that are class 1 - 5. This is not suitable for small children under ?? years. The raft may flip over during your day on the river.

2. How deep is the water?

It varies, rapids are shallow and calm areas are deep.

3. Will I get wet?

Yes, soaked head to toe.

4. What should I wear?

Shorts/t-shirt, beach sandals that you don't mind getting wet.

5. What should I bring?

Just your sense of humor and some sun cream. We'll provide everything else.

6. Do we go if it rains?

Yes!! It's rafting and your going to get wet anyway. We never cancel a trip.

7. How do I claim my free nights accommodation at Explorers?.

Book you rafting and accommodation online and you will automatically be credited your first nights accommodation. Alternatively speak with a member of our office staff on arrival at Explorers Backpackers in Jinja.

8. Where do meet for the start of the days activities?

The start of the day begins at Explorers Backpackers in Jinja at 09.00am.

9. How long is the trip?

You are on the river including lunch time for ?? hours on the full days activity and ?? hours on the half day activity. Transportation time from the pull out point back to Explorers Campsite is 45 minutes and Explorers backpackers is 60 minutes.

10. What's for lunch?

We enjoy a lite lunch of tropical fruits and refreshments whilst on the raft. At days end there is a sumptuous BBQ. Beers and sodas are included.
